In celebration of the 30th anniversary of CES - Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, we developed a brochure with a peculiar concept.
CES — ´KNOWLEDGE TAKES PLACE´
The brief
CES — Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra - is a research institution in the social and human sciences committed to theoretical and methodological innovation. The fun side of the object has as cornerstone of its development the word pun that gave rise to the very name of the publication “O Saber Ocupa Lugar” – "Knowledge takes place" and the luminous geometric letters that decorate the scientific production bookcase that exists at CES itself.
Approach
The main concept of the brochure sought a game of cuttings and creases that stimulate fun and curiosities in its covers.
The brochure that Duplo Network developed for CES is a curious, different and lighthearted publication that highlights the variety of the research produced at CES.
