Our goal was to create packaging that had a bold and vibrant graphic style, while still keeping the natural and organic vibe of the product.

The brief


Alimo is a top-performing brand in the consumer goods industry in Angola, known for its comprehensive range of products,people centered development and thus, exceptional quality.

We were challenged to create a new range of products with Oats as the main ingredient.

The first step was to create a distinctive and memorable brand identity for Alimo oat flakes. We began by exploring different design directions, with a focus on highlighting the health benefits of oats and the energy they provide. The concept we chose was one that incorporated bold typography, vibrant colors, and imagery that conveyed an active and healthy lifestyle.

Approach


We wanted the packaging to stand out on the shelves and communicate the product's benefits clearly. The main concept of the design of the packaging was to appeal to the gym-goers with a packaging and design full of vibrant colors such as the bright blue, red and orange, bold typography, and illustrations that showcased the oats' nutritional content and the gym theme. We also wanted to highlight the fact that it was fast-cooking and whole-grain, which has more health and nutritional benefits.
